Short break

Hi all! I just wanted to fill everyone in on what's going on in my real life. We just recently (last weekend) moved into a new place and have been busy trying to get our house to look more like a home. There are boxes everywhere and it's hard to function when you don't know where anything is lol.

I'm also working a second job temporarily which completely kills my evenings. And with the holidays on the horizon, I'll be busy with that then too. This RL stuff is really cutting into my simming time and I'm not liking it one bit!

So what does that mean? That means that I won't be around as much and certainly won't have much time for simming. Alicia, Kyle and the twins' update is the last one of the round and I tried to get that done before RL took over. No luck. I'll have that up as soon as I can get it written. All pics are already taken.

Round 6 ROS

Notes:
-Nothing too bad this round. I'm really happy with who rolled the hyperactive hormones ROS because I think it fits that sim. And the lotto will really help out this sim and their family so I'm glad for that as well.
-Some N99ers should know about the distant relative one already. I will post the prelude here too so that everyone will know the back story.

Hi all! I'm truly sorry for being MIA this past month +. RL has been crazy and this week has been the first week I was able to be in my game for longer than 10 mins. But I come bearing gifts (well, 1 gift) so that makes up for it, right? ;) lol

I finally finished cleaning out my high school and uploaded it. It's now only 8mb or something like that instead of 60mb or whatever it was! There is some cc in there, mostly from ATS since she's so generous and lets us package up her stuff. The cc that is in is most likely compressed. Feel free to do whatever you want with the high school. It's your game, knock yourself out. If there's anything specific that's missing and you want to know where to get it, just ask! Cool Find - Job Stopinator by Cyjon

Just spreading the word... I saw in a cool finds thread at GOS that Cyjon made a mod to stop sims from getting promotions. I know some bloggers like controlling how fast sims get promotions and it's kind of hard to keep them from advancing too fast when they have a lot of skill points and friends. Cyjon made an object that once placed in the sims' inventory, they will no longer get promotions. Check out the description. I haven't tried it yet but I'm definitely snagging it!

I've been blogging for a year!

I just realized that my first "real" family update on the blog was posed 1 year and (almost) 1 month ago, March 23, 2010! I completely missed my blog's birthday LOL. I just had to share my revelation!

Round 5: ROS

I decided to put this up a little early since I'm still writing the last update of Round 4, and I already had this ready.

Round 5's ROSs are:

1. Car accident. Oh no! You were in an accident and totaled your car!
2. Adopt a pet.
3. Errands. Must visit 3 community lots before the end of the day.

I rolled a bunch of ROSs for this round and next (and the next! I went a little overboard lol) and since all of them were doable, I decided to do 3 ROSs instead of just 2. These should be interesting!
