I already submitted my application to the university so I can just sit back and relax now. My grades are great so I know I'll get in. I can't wait to get this last year of high school over with.

I didn't have to work as many hours at the lab this summer so I had a lot more free time than I anticipated. So I've been hanging out at Starters a lot more to pass the time.

I met this girl named Kenya there a few weeks ago at the juice bar and we ended up talking a lot.

On one of the days I ran into her there, she ended up asking me out on a date. She's not really my type but what the hell. She's kinda cute and I'm not seeing anyone exclusively.

She got me to sing karaoke on our date. I don't know how she convinced me to do it but she did. Karaoke's not really my thing but luckily no one paid much attention to us.

I did get into it a little bit because if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it right.

After we ate, we went upstairs to dance. We thought we could have a little more privacy up there.

We were having a good time but I think I took it a little too far. I tried to be smooth and lowered my hands a bit but she wasn't having any of that.

I didn't think she would mind because of how she was dancing and the things she was whispering in my ear. But she put me in my place.

Was worth a shot, though. You never know how far you can go unless you try, right?

Our date ended kind of suddenly when a fight broke out between 2 girls I go to school with. Kenya was kind of freaked out about it and wanted to leave. She was probably looking for any excuse to leave and the fight came at the right time.

With the way things ended, who knows if I'll see Kenya again.I'd be alright with that, though because I just went on a date this weekend with this girl Breanna who's a regular at the club.

I started noticing her at the beginning of the summer and we didn't start talking until this month.

She's really hot so I asked her out on a date. I didn't want to screw up as badly as I did with Kenya so I made sure I was the perfect gentleman.

I don't have a ton of money so I kept it simple for our first date. Lunch and dancing at Starters is cheap and convenient, so that's what we did.

She's a really nice girl. We like a lot of the same things and dislike a few of the same things, too.

I'll have to find a way to get over her table manners, though. She isn't a very graceful eater and that's a big turn off for me.

But we really click so I think I can get over it. Our date was very nice and I look forward to hanging out with her again.

Extras:

Did anyone guess who was fighting? LOL. Alyssa kicked Amber's butt lol. She is one tough 12 year old!

Notes:
-Darren's finally acting like a romance sim. He's been rolling generic date wants and I was happy to oblige. He can't really roll romantic wants for Mei now since she's an adult and he's still a teen so we'll see what wants they start to roll once he ages up.
-That's actually the second fight Alyssa and Amber got into at the club and Alyssa won both. I also noticed that after the first fight, Alyssa got, I think, 5000 aspiration points. So I quickly checked her memories and she must have had the want for a bad reputation. I'll definitely touch more on that during her update. I have ideas on what I can do with this.
-Did I mention how much I like these mini updates? :) I can focus solely on one sim and it's a lot more fun for me. I'm going to do one more update for this family and then move on to the next household.
